Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of cashier experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience as a Cashier
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of Point of Sale systems and retail operations
- Ability to handle customer escalations professionally
- Willingness to learn and develop coaching skills
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service to customers at checkout
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area to ensure smooth operation
- Position Cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- Approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns across registers and service areas
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in the supervision, coaching and training of Front End Associates
- Participate in the training and development of new Cashiers using available tools
