Job Requirements
- Current and valid drivers' license
- Professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance in accordance with company policy
- Ability to perform all essential functions safely without endangering oneself or others
- Ability to comply with local and state health code requirements for soda fountain and food service/sales
- Meet local/state minimum age requirements for sale of tobacco and alcohol where applicable
- Ability to complete all required trainings/certifications to perform job functions
- Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Must be able to fluently speak and understand English for business communications
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations and operate data entry devices
- Physical ability for extended standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Be friendly and engaging with a positive attitude and will to succeed
- Experience in customer service, retail, or sales preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Willingness to participate in training and development programs
Job Duties
- Provide excellent and timely customer service to create a pleasant experience for customers
- Pro-actively greet customers entering the convenience store, pay terminal area, or fuel pumps and be responsive to their needs
- Effectively present and sell car wash services, memberships, and additional purchase options to customers to achieve sales and revenue goals for the location
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment including outside areas like gas pump islands and entrances, and inside areas like counters and restrooms
- Keep convenience store merchandise stocked and organized, displays clean and well presented
- Maintain point-of-sale transaction, sales, and cash drawer integrity by following procedures accurately
- Perform various administrative, transactional, and other functions as directed by management
