Job Requirements
- part-time union availability
- ability to work varied hours Sunday through Saturday
- ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and over 50 lbs occasionally
- ability to operate register, scanner, coupon machine, and check approval machine
- ability to stand, reach, and turn for extended periods
- effective reading, writing, and math skills
- willingness to maintain a clean and safe store environment
- punctuality and reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- friendly and outgoing personality
- experience working on a front end is preferred
- knowledge of coupons, returns, security procedures, and etiquette
- motivated to grow career and continue learning
- good judgment and decision-making skills
- strong verbal interaction and social skills
Job Duties
- Make lasting connections with customers
- ring up customer purchases in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
- problem solve customer questions and/or concerns, escalating to management when necessary
- help maintain a clean and safe store environment
- work with team members on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
- be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled
