Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of retail cashier experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with retail operating procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of Cashier experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle financial transactions accurately
- Leadership skills to support and coach team members
- Knowledge of Point of Sale systems and procedures
- Ability to resolve conflicts and provide excellent customer solutions
- Basic math and computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service to customers at checkout
- Process checkout and return transactions efficiently
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area to ensure smooth operation
- Position Cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- Approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for registers and special service areas
- Serve as first level escalation for customer issues and resolve problems promptly
- Assist in supervising, coaching and training other Front End Associates and new Cashiers
