Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- positive attitude
- ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
- dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have good communication skills
- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- able to perform repetitious activities
- able to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- must lift/carry products weighing up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically for short distances
- must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- requires strong attention to detail
- proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write and count

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly and accurately
- handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide change
- assist customers with inquiries and resolve complaints
- follow all front end procedures
- assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
- maintain checkout areas clean and orderly
- communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
