Job Requirements
- Prior cashier experience preferred
- ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm
- ability to accurately handle cash and operate cash register systems
- good customer service and communication skills
- ability to comply with sanitation, safety, and company policies
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness
- adherence to company dress code and safety procedures
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior cashier experience preferred
- good communication and customer service skills
- basic math skills
- ability to handle cash accurately
- knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- ability to work full time on the assigned schedule
- ability to interact effectively with diverse customers

- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
- enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
- make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
- issue receipts to customers
- follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
- interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- be responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards
- observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions
- replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas
- keep pastry case stocked
- ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
- ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
- perform other duties as assigned
