Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year cashier experience
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
- willingness to assist and train other employees
- basic math skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- Process checkout and/or return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- position cashiers and expedite price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, self-checkout, returns, pro desk, special services, and tool rental
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in the supervision, coaching and training of other front end associates
- participate in the training of new cashiers and utilize coaching tools to develop other cashiers
