Job Requirements

Previous food service experience preferred
Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Must be able to perform cashiering duties such as making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer accuracy, and completing cash reports
Reliable and punctual
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to handle money accurately
Must comply with company sanitation and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service or cashiering is preferred
Basic math and cash handling skills
Ability to operate a cash register and handle multiple forms of payment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow sanitation and safety standards
Team player with positive attitude

Job Duties

Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
Make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment, issue receipts to customers
Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards
Observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions
Replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas
Keep pastry case stocked
Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
Ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
