Job Requirements

Must be at least sixteen years of age
Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
Ability to move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
Frequent repetitive motion with hands and arms
Ability to stand and walk continuously for up to 4 hours
Ability to visually locate merchandise and verify information in small print
May be exposed to various weather conditions and work environment variations including dust and humidity
May be exposed to chemicals or allergens
Completion and favorable evaluation of PEP survey, drug screen, employment reference check, criminal background check, or credit check may be required

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience handling cash register operations or financial transactions preferred
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies
Basic problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Good physical stamina and ability to stand or walk for long periods
Effective communication skills

Job Duties

Process transactions quickly and efficiently by following company guidelines and legal requirements
Perform proper bagging techniques to ensure food safety and product integrity
Provide customer services including carry out assistance and promoting store services or events
Utilize problem-solving skills to effectively address customer issues
Maintain safety and quality orientation in all tasks
Build and foster positive relationships with customers and team members
Uphold company policies through conscientiousness, integrity, and professionalism
