Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
- Ability to move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Frequent repetitive motion with hands and arms
- Ability to stand and walk continuously for up to 4 hours
- Ability to visually locate merchandise and verify information in small print
- May be exposed to various weather conditions and work environment variations including dust and humidity
- May be exposed to chemicals or allergens
- Completion and favorable evaluation of PEP survey, drug screen, employment reference check, criminal background check, or credit check may be required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience handling cash register operations or financial transactions preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies
- Basic problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Process transactions quickly and efficiently by following company guidelines and legal requirements
- Perform proper bagging techniques to ensure food safety and product integrity
- Provide customer services including carry out assistance and promoting store services or events
- Utilize problem-solving skills to effectively address customer issues
- Maintain safety and quality orientation in all tasks
- Build and foster positive relationships with customers and team members
- Uphold company policies through conscientiousness, integrity, and professionalism
