Job Requirements
- Lift, twist, move and carry a maximum of 50 lbs
- maintain active signage and pricing in all departmental areas
- care for signs, banners, and debris from daily operations
- respond to customers, coworkers, and vendor questions and responses promptly and politely
- proper usage of store phone and intercom systems
- understand operation, safety requirements and restraints of baler, case cutter, pallet jack (must be 18 years or older to operate pallet jack and baler)
- comply with company policies and applicable laws
- ensure safety of self, coworkers and customers by following store safety rules and reporting hazards immediately
Job Qualifications
- Basic mathematics (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in related field or industry
Job Duties
- Greet, assist, and lead customers to product politely
- actively stock, merchandise, and correct product
- build and fill displays as needed
- maintain company standards for perishables and stay up to date on all active safety procedures
- transportation of goods within department
- ensuring health and safety codes, checking for pricing and expiration, and maintaining an organizational standard area
- perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisors and managers, assisting within other departments as needed to service customers
