Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- show outgoing and friendly behavior
- have a positive attitude
- ability to interact with customers
- operate front end equipment such as register, calculator and scanner
- be dependable and reliable
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- have good communication skills
- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- able to perform repetitious activities
- ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- must lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs
- must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- strong attention to detail
- proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write and count

Job Duties
- process each customer’s order quickly, accurately and efficiently
- handle customer cash, credit/debit payments and provide correct change
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow all front end procedures
- assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, events and seminars
- maintain checkout areas clean and orderly at all times
