Job Requirements
- Must lift/carry products weighing up to 30 lbs horizontally/vertically
- be able to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force
- work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- demonstrate strong attention to detail
- be proficient in cash handling and math
- have good communication skills
- possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- have cashiering experience
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- possess a positive attitude and ability to engage with customers
- ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
- dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- capability to perform repetitious activities and multi-task
- strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow all front end procedures including stocking shelves, facing and dusting
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
- keep checkout areas clean and orderly
