Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of cashier experience
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- excellent communication skills
- basic math skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- willingness to learn and adapt
- teamwork orientation
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year cashier experience
- strong customer service skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- capability to train and coach team members
- familiarity with Point of Sale systems
- attention to detail in following policies and procedures
Job Duties
- process checkout and return transactions
- monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
- provide customer service with speed, friendliness, and accuracy
- seek product knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
- ensure compliance with all policies to minimize shrink
- position Cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for registers and service areas
- handle first level customer issue escalations
- assist in supervising, coaching, and training Front End Associates
- participate in training new Cashiers and use tools to coach and develop Cashiers
