Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
dependable and reliable
ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
good communication skills
ability to take direction and constructive criticism
ability to work in a team environment
ability to perform repetitious activities
ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
must be able to lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs for distances up to 3 feet without mechanical assistance
must be able to use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs for distances up to 4 feet
strong attention to detail
proficiency with numbers and cash handling skills
ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
handle cash, credit, debit payments, and change accurately
provide prompt and friendly customer service
assist customers with product location and questions
maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
