Job Requirements
- must lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs horizontally/vertically from 36" to 24" for distances up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without assistance
- must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs for distances up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
- dependable and reliable
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- show a positive attitude
- ability to interact with customers
- ability to operate register, calculator, and scanner
- possess good communication skills
- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- ability to perform repetitious tasks, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
- strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- able to read, write, and count
Job Duties
- process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow all front end procedures
- assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and product locations
- maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- communicate with front end manager and Head Cashier
