Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1-2 years of cashiering experience
- age 18 or older
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to push grocery carts with up to 35 pounds of force
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to receive and act on direction and constructive criticism
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- exhibit positive attitude and strong communication skills
- ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, scanner
- must be dependable and reliable
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to perform repetitious activities and multi-task
- strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly and accurately
- handle cash, credit, and debit payments
- provide customer assistance and resolve complaints
- stock shelves, face products, and dust as needed
- maintain checkout areas clean and orderly
- communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
- promote knowledge of weekly ads and store events
