Job Requirements
- Less than high school education, GED or high school degree preferred
- ability to comprehend simple instructions
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally
- willing to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude
- enter orders into POS system, use suggestive selling of food products to customers, receive payment (cash and credit card), make change and maintain cash drawer
- present orders to guests and ensure accuracy of order
- assist with ordering filling as needed
- read monitor to identify products that need to be prepared
- notify cook of special orders, shortages and needs
- perform minor food preparation, stock supplies, clean dining room tables and restrooms, sweep, mop, discard trash and fill ice bins
- set up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
- communicate with customers, team members and managers in a positive and professional manner
- maintain cleanliness on the service counter and order presentation counter
- maintain cleanliness, organization and rotation of the display cooler
- observe health and sanitation guidelines and follow established procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness, health and safety protocols
- maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and take ownership of area
- look for opportunities to assist fellow team members in an enthusiastic manner
- perform other duties as assigned
- work variable schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
