Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Outgoing and friendly behavior
Positive attitude
Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
Dependable and reliable
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
Good communication skills
Ability to take direction and participate in team environment
Ability to perform repetitive activities
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
Ability to lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs
Ability to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency with numbers and cash handling
Ability to read, write and count

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
Ability to operate register, calculator and scanner
Dependable and able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
Have good communication skills and ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
Physically able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and move grocery carts requiring moderate force
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Proficient in cash handling and basic math
Ability to read, write and count

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly, accurately and efficiently
Handle cash, credit/debit payments and give correct change
Provide friendly and prompt customer service
Assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
Stay knowledgeable about weekly promotions, events and seminars
