Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Demonstrate an outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
Dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team
Ability to perform repetitious activities and multi-task while staying organized
Must be able to lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs and move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills

Job Qualifications

1-2 years recent cashiering experience
Outgoing and friendly demeanor
Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers and scanners
Dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using front end equipment including registers, calculators, and scanners
Handle customer payments including cash, credit, and debit cards responsibly and accurately
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas throughout shifts
Provide information to customers about product locations, weekly ads, and upcoming store events or seminars
Assist with stocking, facing, and dusting shelves as needed
Communicate effectively with front end management and fellow cashiers to ensure smooth store operations
