Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- no prior experience necessary
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- reliable availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- adherence to company uniform policy
- successful completion of Smashburger training
- ability to comply with local, state, and federal employment regulations
- eligibility to work in the U.S. and participation in E-Verify
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- customer service experience is a plus but not required
- ability to stand for extended periods

- willingness to learn and complete training programs
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile
- promote a fun and positive work environment
- work effectively with others on the line and communicate with cooks and managers
- be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions
- verify guest orders for accuracy, manage to-go orders, process POS transactions, follow cash handling procedures and understand the rewards program
- visit tables after food delivery to ensure guests have what they need
- adhere to marketing promotions and encourage completion of guest surveys
- follow food safety and security standards
- maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area and restrooms
- demonstrate good communication and teamwork
- uphold integrity and follow company cash policies to prevent losses
- upsell menu items to guests
- follow order accuracy procedures to minimize waste
