Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cashier or retail experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic math skills for transaction handling
- Capability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Positive and friendly attitude with punctuality
- Ability to set priorities and organize workload
- Problem-solving skills to offer solutions to customers
- Capacity to engage with and assist different individuals
- Prior retail experience such as cashier, sales associate, or related roles is a plus
- Experience with major retail brands like Target, Walgreens, or Safeway is advantageous
Job Duties
- Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout and surrounding areas
- Support inventory management and restocking as needed
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with store team to ensure a positive shopping experience
