Job Requirements

18 years or older
good math and cash handling skills
excellent internal and external customer service skills
ability to problem solve, effectively multi-task, and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
good written and verbal communication skills in English

ability to obtain a valid Food Handler's Card within one week of employment, no food allergies, and no limitations to handling and preparing full range of food products

ability to work at any/all assigned stores in Tacoma and Fife
reliable transportation
ability to regularly work wide variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
schedule availability range that includes minimum of twelve shift times per week, inclusive of four on weekends

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
any related vocational training or certifications preferred
retail cash handling experience in a busy, fast-paced environment preferred
excellent internal and external customer service skills
good written and verbal communication skills in English
strong self starter and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
team minded
ability to problem solve, effectively multi-task, and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines

ability to handle food preparation tasks

Job Duties

Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and availability to work a wide variety of days/shifts
cheerfully greet guests, suggest and help them select products, and provide assistance throughout their visit to ensure the perfect guest experience
accurately and efficiently ring up sales
clean interior and exterior of store, stock shelves/coolers/freezers, set up displays, help to train other employees, and prepare food
accurately process receiving, inventory/waste reporting, task checklists, POS system reports, and cashier/register reports
work with a sense of urgency to get tasks done safely, quickly, and with good quality
promptly report any issues or incidents of concern
