Job Duties
- Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale system
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company guidelines on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sales items
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow established policies regarding postage stamps and gift cards
- Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions and sales
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and store safety procedures
