Job Requirements
- Work 9-28 hours per week
- Must be 16 or older
- Sit, stand, and walk continuously
- Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb including the use of ladders
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
- Communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing
- Maintain effective audio-visual perception and judgment to observe and respond to the environment
- Work in an environment with hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens
- Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment including knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in cash handling or customer service is a plus
- Ability to use POS systems accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Assemble and package menu items to company standards
- Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all guests
- Explain menu and answer product questions for all guests
- Enter guests orders accurately into the POS system
- Accept payments from guests and make change correctly
- Operate the cash register and be responsible for cash receipts
- Present orders to guests properly packaged with all necessary accompaniment and utensils
- Generate additional sales by suggesting additional menu items to guests
- Verify register at the beginning of the shift
- Stock adequate supplies of paper goods, condiments, beverages, etc. for serving the guest
- Prepare drinks and assist in prepping items such as sauces, salads, produce, etc.
- Clean all guest areas
- Inform management when any front-of-house equipment needs service or inventory is needed
- Remove trash from waste receptacles
- Answer telephone and take orders over the telephone
