Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- positive attitude
- ability to operate front-end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
- dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to follow directions and accept constructive criticism
- ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
- ability to perform repetitious activities
- lift and carry products up to 30 lbs for distances up to 3 feet without mechanical assistance
- use both hands to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force for distances up to 4 feet
- strong attention to detail and proficiency with cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties
- process each customer order quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow all front end procedures
- assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
- maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition
- execute other related duties as assigned
