Job Requirements
- Less than high school education, GED or high school degree preferred
- ability to comprehend simple instructions
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire

Job Duties
- Greets customers with a positive and friendly attitude
- enters orders into POS system, uses suggestive selling of food products to customers, receives payment (cash and credit card), makes change and maintains cash drawer
- presents orders to guests and ensures accuracy of order
- assists with ordering filling as needed
- reads monitor to identify products that need to be prepared
- notifies cook of special orders, shortages and needs
- performs minor food preparation, stocks supplies, cleans dining room tables and restrooms, sweeps, mops, discards trash, and fills ice bins
- sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment as needed
- communicates with customers, team members and managers in a positive and professional manner
- maintains cleanliness on the service counter and order presentation counter
- maintains cleanliness, organization, and rotation of the display cooler
- observes health and sanitation guidelines and follows established procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness, health and safety protocols
- maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and takes ownership of area
- looks for opportunities to assist fellow team members in an enthusiastic manner
- performs other duties as assigned
- works variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
