Job Requirements

  • No prior experience necessary
  • must successfully complete Smashburger training program
  • must be 16 years old or older
  • physical ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds
  • ability to adhere to variable working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must follow Smashburger uniform policy
  • ability to comply with local, state, and federal employment regulations
  • must produce authorized U.S. work documents
  • participation in E-Verify required

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile
  • promote a fun and positive work environment
  • work effectively with team members, cooks, and managers
  • be knowledgeable about all menu items to make suggestions and answer questions
  • verify guest orders for accuracy and process POS transactions
  • visit tables after food delivery to ensure guest satisfaction
  • adhere to marketing promotions and encourage survey completion
  • maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining areas, and restrooms
  • follow cash handling procedures and company cash policies
  • upsell food items through thoughtful suggestions
  • follow order accuracy procedures
