Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
- Be dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Have good communication skills and ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Be able to perform repetitious activities and multitask
- Must lift and carry products up to 30 lbs from 36" to 24" for up to 50 hours
- Must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs for up to 50 hours
- Require strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers including cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write and count
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
- Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize and stay organized
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers including cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- Follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
- Keep checkout areas clean and orderly at all times
