Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- outgoing and friendly behavior
- positive attitude
- ability to operate register, calculator, and scanner
- dependable and reliable
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and constructive criticism
- ability to perform repetitious activities
- ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
- ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs from 36" to 24" for up to 50 hours
- ability to push grocery carts horizontally requiring up to 35 lbs of force for up to 50 hours
- strong attention to detail
- proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly and accurately
- handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
- provide friendly and prompt customer service
- assist customers with product information and location
- follow front-end procedures for checkout
- assist with stocking, facing, and dusting shelves as needed
- maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
- resolve customer complaints professionally
