Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Show outgoing and friendly behavior
- Possess a positive attitude
- Ability to interact with customers
- Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
- Be dependable and reliable
- Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism
- Ability to participate in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitious activities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- Must lift and carry product horizontally and vertically up to 30 lbs
- Must push grocery carts horizontally requiring a force up to 35 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write and count

Job Duties
- Process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- Accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- Follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, product locations, and store events
- Keep checkout areas clean and orderly
- Execute other related duties as assigned
