Job Duties
- Greet, engage, and assist customers actively at checkout
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various payment types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sales, and loss prevention
- Follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay current on pricing, promotions, and food safety regulations
- Report equipment issues and unsafe conditions to management
- Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
