Job Duties

  • Greet and engage customers actively
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently through POS system
  • Handle various payment types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
  • Adhere to company policies on restricted sales items and cash handling
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow established procedures for gift cards, coupons, and postage stamps
  • Maintain knowledge of current and promotional pricing
  • Comply with food safety regulations and store safety programs
  • Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering product-related questions
  • Manage conflicts reasonably and cooperatively
  • Follow local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
  • Support customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
