Job Duties

  • Greet, engage and assist customers actively
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
  • Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers
  • Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sale items and pricing discrepancies
  • Maintain safety programs and food safety regulations
  • Report equipment issues and unsafe conditions to management
  • Provide a welcoming environment and answer customer questions
  • Manage conflict cooperatively and act with honesty and integrity
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
  • Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs and older adults
