Job Requirements
- Must be willing to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays
- Ability to frequently stand and lift or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 60 pounds
- No prior computer skills required
- Ability to communicate positively and professionally
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and observe health and safety protocols
- Must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education, GED or high school degree preferred
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Willingness to obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire
Job Duties
- Greets customers with a positive and friendly attitude
- Enters orders into POS system, uses suggestive selling of food products to customers, receives payment (cash and credit card), makes change and maintains cash drawer
- Presents orders to guests and ensures accuracy of order
- Assists with ordering filling as needed
- Reads monitor to identify products that need to be prepared
- Notifies cook of special orders, shortages and needs
- Performs minor food preparation, stocks supplies, cleans dining tables and restrooms, sweeps, mops, discards trash and fills ice bins
- Sets up workstations with needed ingredients and equipment
- Communicates with customers, team members and managers in a positive and professional manner
- Maintains cleanliness on service and order presentation counters
- Maintains cleanliness, organization, and rotation of display cooler
- Observes health and sanitation guidelines, follows procedures to meet cleanliness, health and safety standards
- Maintains clean and sanitary workstation and takes ownership of area
- Assists fellow team members enthusiastically
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Works variable schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays
