Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- no prior experience necessary
- ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- punctual and reliable with flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must adhere to company uniform policy
- successful completion of Smashburger training program
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- ability to comply with local, state, and federal employment regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
- customer service experience is a plus but not required
- ability to learn and retain detailed product information
- basic math and cash handling skills
- friendly and approachable personality

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile
- promote a fun and positive work environment
- work effectively as part of a team with cooks and managers
- be knowledgeable of all menu items for suggestions and answering questions
- verify guest orders for accuracy and manage to-go orders
- process point-of-sale transactions and follow cash handling procedures
- visit tables after food delivery to ensure guests have refills and condiments
- adhere to marketing promotions and encourage guest surveys
- maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms
- follow personal and food safety and security standards
- listen and communicate effectively
- follow company cash policies to prevent theft or shortages
- upsell food items through thoughtful suggestions
- follow order accuracy procedures to minimize waste and maximize guest satisfaction
