Job Requirements
- no prior experience necessary
- must successfully complete Smashburger training program
- must be 16 years old or above
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 25 pounds
- reliable attendance for variable hours and days including holidays
- adherence to uniform policy
- compliance with local, state and federal employment laws
- ability to produce authorized U.S. work documents
- participation in E-Verify

Job Duties
- greet guests with a smile
- promote a fun and positive work environment
- work effectively with others on the line and communicate with cooks and managers
- be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions
- verify guest orders for accuracy, manage to-go orders, process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
- visit tables after food delivery to ensure guests have everything they need
- adhere to marketing promotions and encourage guest surveys
- foster a safe work environment by following personal and food safety standards
- maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area and restrooms
- listen, communicate and work well with others
- value integrity by doing the right thing even when not observed
- follow company cash policies to minimize losses
- upsell food items with thoughtful suggestions
- follow order accuracy procedures to ensure guest satisfaction
