Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- ability to work variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- adhere to Smashburger uniform policy
- successful completion of Smashburger training program
- ability to follow company, local, state, and federal employment regulations
- authorized to work in the United States
- referred employees must be in good standing and referee employed at time of payout

- knowledge of or ability to learn food safety and cash handling procedures

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile and welcome them warmly
- promote a fun and positive work environment
- work effectively as part of a team, communicating with cooks and managers in a busy restaurant
- be knowledgeable of all menu items to provide meal suggestions and answer questions
- verify guest orders for accuracy and manage to-go orders
- process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
- visit tables after food delivery to ensure guests have everything they need
- adhere to marketing promotions and encourage guests to complete surveys
- maintain a safe work environment by following personal and food safety standards
- keep floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms clean
- listen, communicate, and collaborate effectively with others
- uphold integrity and follow company cash policies
- upsell menu items thoughtfully
- follow order accuracy procedures to minimize waste and ensure guest satisfaction
