Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
  • Must be willing to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire
  • Ability to follow health and safety protocols
  • Ability to communicate positively and professionally with customers, team members, and managers
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace

Job Qualifications

  • Less than high school education, GED or high school degree preferred
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions
  • No computer skills required
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Possession of or ability to obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Greets customers with a positive and friendly attitude
  • Enters orders into POS system, uses suggestive selling of food products to customers, receives payment (cash and credit card), makes change and maintains cash drawer
  • Presents orders to guests and ensures accuracy of order
  • Assists with ordering filling as needed
  • Reads monitor to identify products that need to be prepared
  • Notifies cook of special orders, shortages and needs
  • Performs minor food preparation, stocks supplies, cleans dining room tables and restrooms, sweeps, mops, discards trash and fills ice bins
  • Sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment as needed
  • Communicates with customers, team members and managers in a positive and professional manner
  • Maintains cleanliness on the service counter and order presentation counter
  • Maintains cleanliness, organization, and rotation of the display cooler
  • Observes health and sanitation guidelines and follows established procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness, health and safety protocols
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and takes ownership of area
  • Looks for opportunities to assist fellow team members in an enthusiastic manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Must be willing to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
