Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to walk, reach, bend, frequently use wrists and hands

- Ability to follow liquor and tobacco laws
- Ability to maintain accuracy in cash handling

Job Duties
- Accurately records prices and collects payments
- Responsible for accurate balancing of the cash drawer
- Follows and implements correct accounting procedures for all voids, returns, exchanges, and department transfers
- Accurately collects cash, checks, or charge payments from customers and makes changes when required on cash transactions
- Verifies identification for authenticity and signature when processing checks and credit card purchases
- Follows liquor and tobacco laws implicitly, including verification and authenticity of valid identification
- Provides customer service that exceeds expectations and adheres to established policies and guidelines
