Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Show outgoing and friendly behavior
Demonstrate positive attitude and customer interaction skills
Ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, scanner
Be dependable and reliable
Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Good communication skills
Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
Ability to perform repetitive activities
Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized
Ability to lift and carry product weighing up to 30 lbs
Ability to use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills
Ability to read, write, and count

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Handle cash, credit, and debit payments
Assist customers by providing product information and resolving complaints
Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas
Stock shelves and perform facing and dusting tasks
Stay knowledgeable about weekly ad items and store events
Communicate effectively with the front end manager and Head Cashier
