Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of related experience in cashier or food service
  • valid ServSafe or approved Food Handler Certification
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • proficiency in operating POS and credit card equipment
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • ability to read and write proficiently
  • manual dexterity and ability to lift 50 lbs or less

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, receive food orders, repeat food orders, charge the correct price, handle cash and provide change
  • enact gift cards requested by guests
  • maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items and pricing
  • interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
  • make corrections to guest orders quickly
  • identify and respond to counterfeit money
  • verify age requirements before serving alcohol
  • ensure guest satisfaction
  • maintain neat and clean work area and uniform
  • clean and maintain equipment
  • complete training requirements and adhere to attendance and dress codes
