Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of cashier experience
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- excellent communication skills
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications

- strong customer service skills
- leadership and supervisory abilities
- knowledge of point of sale systems
- ability to handle escalated customer issues calmly and efficiently

- ability to train and coach team members effectively
Job Duties
- process checkout and return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service to customers
- position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, self-checkout, returns, pro desk, special services, and tool rental
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in the supervision, coaching, and training of other front end associates by participating in the training of new cashiers and using all available tools to coach and develop other cashiers
