Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to provide fast and friendly customer service
- experience in processing sales and return transactions
- familiarity with self-checkout systems
- availability to work flexible hours
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year cashier experience for head cashier role
- strong customer service skills
- ability to handle multiple transactions accurately
- good communication skills
- experience in supervising or training other employees is preferred
- knowledge of point of sale systems
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Job Duties
- process checkout and return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- provide customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service
- proactively seek product and project knowledge to assist customers
- position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for various registers and desks
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in supervising, coaching, and training other front end associates
- participate in the training of new cashiers
- utilize available tools to coach and develop other cashiers
