Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- prior cashier or retail experience preferred
- ability to operate carousel
- ability to perform basic math
- able to follow instructions
- available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
- able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- pass a drug test and background check

- previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience is a plus
- ability to operate a point-of-sale system accurately
- basic math skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow oral and written instructions

- ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service at gift shop and ticket booths
- process admissions, memberships, and retail transactions accurately using POS system
- answer guest questions about zoo hours, exhibits, events, and amenities
- operate the carousel ride safely and efficiently
- maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cashier station
- follow all zoo policies, safety, and emergency protocols
- perform other duties as assigned
