Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old
No prior experience necessary
Must successfully complete Smashburger training program
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
Ability to work variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must adhere to Smashburger uniform policy
Ability to follow all local, state, and federal employment regulations
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and provide valid work documents
Must report to work on time consistently

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift boxes up to 25 lbs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Successful completion of Smashburger training program
Knowledge of POS systems is a plus but not required
Ability to follow safety and security standards
Demonstrated integrity and reliability

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile and welcome new and repeat visitors
Promote a fun and positive work environment
Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with cooks and managers
Be knowledgeable of all menu items and make meal suggestions
Verify guest orders for accuracy and manage to-go orders
Process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
Visit tables after food delivery to ensure guest satisfaction and needs
Adhere to marketing promotions and encourage guest surveys
Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms
Follow personal and food safety and security standards
Upsell food items through thoughtful suggestions
Follow order accuracy procedures to minimize waste and enhance guest experience
Uphold company cash policies to prevent losses due to theft or shortages
