Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
Dependable and reliable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Good communication skills
Ability to take constructive criticism
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Must lift or carry up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically without assistance
Must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in cash handling and math
Ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide correct change
Assist customers with product information and resolve complaints
Maintain checkout areas clean and orderly
Stock shelves, face products, and dust as needed
Communicate effectively with front-end manager and head cashier
Follow all front-end procedures and execute other related duties
