Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of cashier experience for head cashier position
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Basic math skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of cashier experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in supervising or coaching is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service at checkout
  • Process checkout and return transactions
  • Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
  • Seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
  • Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
  • Position cashiers and expedite price checks
  • Approve point-of-sale transactions and markdowns for various registers
  • Provide first level escalation for customer issues
  • Assist in training, coaching, and supervising front-end associates
