Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of cashier experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of cashier experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple transactions efficiently
- Knowledge of point of sale systems
- Familiarity with store policies and procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in coaching or training is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe customer service during checkout and return transactions
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
- Seek product and project knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
- Expedite price checks and approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns across various service points
- Serve as first level escalation for customer issues and provide resolution
- Assist in supervising, coaching and training other Front End Associates and new Cashiers
- Utilize available tools to coach and develop Cashiers
