Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Display an outgoing and friendly behavior
Maintain a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
Ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, scanner
Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Have good communication skills and ability to take direction and constructive criticism
Ability to perform repetitious activities and multi-task
Able to lift and carry products up to 30 lbs for up to 50 hours and push grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs force
Requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of recent cashiering experience

Ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with cash handling and numbers

Job Duties

Process each customer's order quickly and accurately while ensuring customer satisfaction
Handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
Follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed
Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and directions for product locations
Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
Ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly at all times
