Job Duties
- Process all payment methods according to accounting procedures and policies
- comply with hotel audit control standards and cash handling procedures
- obtain assigned cash drawer and ensure accuracy
- prepare the workstation with necessary supplies, forms, and resources
- compute cash drawer at shift end and complete cashier reports
- resolve discrepancies and secure cash drawer
- transport cash drawer to assigned work terminal
- maintain cleanliness of cashier workstation
- complete opening tasks including organizing supplies and ensuring proper function of instruments and cash drawer
- comply with company safety and security policies and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- greet and acknowledge all guests per company standards
- anticipate and fulfill guests' service needs and thank guests sincerely
- communicate clearly and professionally and answer phones using proper protocol
- cultivate and maintain positive work relationships and support team goals
- ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
- enter and retrieve job-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, and position objects weighing 10 pounds or less unassisted
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
